we went out for breakfast at McDonald at 9.30am at Admiralty place near our home, it was very crowded and we managed to find a place. The queue was long, but there was a Asst Mgr who hold a palm to take our orders, then he gave us a q nos so that we can collect our food later. The service was quite far. Papa ate big breakfast and I shared hotcake and egg muffin with mami.
After breakfast, we went to Orchard. As it was still early, the traffic to town was smooth and the car park is not crowded. Getting a parking lot is not a problem at all. We went to Isetan first as mami need to get her shopping voucher that was redeem from credit card. We also went to DFS, we didn't go to DFS since a year ago, it was renovated, the watches dept had moved from level 4 to level 1, but there are some section still under renovation. Mami went to see her swarovki crystal, coach bag and lipstick. Papa bought a Montblanc pen refill with mami's $10 voucher, so the pen refill is FREE.
Then we walked down to Paragon, we looking for any hotel that serve Hi-Tea. Crown Prince Hotel had changed to Park Hotel, there is not cafe, only a Japanese restaurant. So we crossed over to Mandarin Hotel, but their Hi-Tea is only on sunday. So we went to Takashimaya, wow, there was a TOYS SALES at basement 2. All the toys were selling at very low price. There was a one hour special sales, a Dinosaur Egg was selling $5, usual price was $19.90, sales at $9 and one hour special price at $5, so papa decide to buy all the four designs. Mami oso a Thomas &Friends water bottles at $10, as the usual price is about $16.95. We also bought a 'fish' shape cheese pancake to eat.
Papa and mami each got a $10 Haagen Dazs ice cream voucher, so we walked to Hilton sidewalk. We bought a sundae and 3 scoops 'create my own' ice cream. The uncle serving us was very nice, he gave us extra cones to eat.
Then we went to Orchard Parade hotel, trying to see whether there is any Hi-Tea going on, but Papa said it had a Indian smell so we U turn back. Orchard Hotel opp has Hi-Tea, but is $30+++ per person, it was too expensive. As we are not very hungry after the ice cream. We decided to postphone out Hi-Tea treat to another day. We are all very tired after all the walking, so we decided to go home. We reached home at about 4pm.
We took out our dinasaur egg to do the assemble. Didi went to take his nap and I played computer games. Papa fixed his dinosaur while mami prepare dinner.
By 6pm, we are waiting for the National day parade to start. we took our dinner in front of the TV, eat and watched national day parade.
This is our national day celebration. Actually my wish is to go to Marina bay to watch the live parade, But.... no luck... no ticket..... next year I will try my luck again....
