Childcare life - playgroup

Actually I had started attending full day childcare since Mar 2007, but today is the first time mummy snap the photos of me. Why leh? I oso dun noe leh.

I think must be becos today is the first time that I carried the school bag myself.

It is a small little bag, with my towel, T-shirt & shorts, diaper, tibits and lastly my "too-too" (pacifier)

I don't like to attend childcare when it started few mths ago, every morning mummy will asked to change and my respond will always be 'I don't want'. Or when I reached the gate of the childcare, I will start to 'mummy.... mummy.....' but mummy will no hiew me, signed the attendance and leave for work, so many months had gone, and I had already get used to it. although I will still 'mummy...mummy...' at times, but most of the time I will just walked to the centre myself

After attended the classes, I'm able to sing more songs other than the ABC and Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars.

KorKor goes to the same care centre as me, but he is the before school care. Teacher Meera will ask him to his school work or supplyment revision in the centre, while I watch cartoon when we reached there.

Breakfast at 8.30am. After that will be play and flash cards time.
Lunch will be served at 11.30am
Shower then followed by nap time till 3.30pm
After the nap will be tea break
4.30pm will be home sweet home

Also done some hand and crafts. Will show here when Teacher return it to us

Vaccination - pneumococcus

What cause pneumonia?
Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs. One of its more common causes is the bug pneumococcus, which can also cause others serious infections such as bacteremia (blood infection), meningitis(infection of the spinal cord or brain membrane) and sinusitis(infection of the sinuses).
Pneumococcal disease can lead to hearing loss, learning disabilities, speech delays, paralysis, brain damage and sometimes even death.

Mummy brought me to have the above vaccine tonight. First I have my weight and height taken, weight 13.5Kg and 91cm tall. Dr Teo of Babybear clinic kept mentioned that this jab will be a very painful and sometimes the jab area maybe swollen too. Mummy was very scared when she heard very painful. When Dr Teo is ready with the needle and medicine, mummy hold my body and hand very tight. Dr Teo inject the needle into my left thigh. I remained silence and stared at the needle. Not a single noise from me. Dr Teo said I am a brave boy and definitely must give me a sweets. It is very rare that children don't cry for this jab. It was a big relieve for mummy too.

Chicken Pox - False Alarm

Last Friday morning when I reached the childcare, Teacher Nalita washed my hand and legs per the normal routine check. After the checked, She asked Mummy to wait for awhile, she called Teacher Audrey to come. Teacher Audrey checked my body and said 'there are 2 spots on Ryan's body, these might be chicken pox'. Mummy got a shocked and claimed that I already had the jab, how can it be!! Teacher Audrey said there might still chance to get it though. At no choice, I was rejected and mummy brought me back to Ah Ma's house...... I was happy and keep telling mummy... 'Ryan cannot go school, Ryan got chicken pox....'

The Teachers called twice on Friday and Saturday to check how it me doing. I was perfectly alright. No Fever, no more new spot coming out.

On sunday, mummy brought me to see Dr Goh. The childcare need the doctor to certify that i'm ok before letting me in to the childcare centre.
Dr Goh, examined my spot and said 'these doesn't look like chicken pox, is dried and no holes. there is no more new spot coming out. so is safe to go back to school'. Mummy got a big big relieve...

Arrival of new PC.....

The new Dell E520 computer that Mummy ordered has arrived tonight at 8pm. It has a 20" screen.. (wow.. I can see more clearly now...yeah yeah)
The delivery man just send the boxes to our house and left. Daddy opened and fixed up the system before I went for my Kumon class. When I came back at 9.10pm, the system was up and running, I quickly finished up my e-learning assignment before games time.
The clock click too fast and it was 10pm, mummy was yelling for me to shut down and have my teeth brushed. Ryan came to shut down the PC for me...... I will be back again tomorrow for more games... only if mummy allow :(
