Happy 91st Birthday to ChorChor

ChorChor's actual birthday was yesterday, 5th day of the lunar new year. ChorChor's birthday dinner is our yearly event.

They are karaoke session too. Papa singing!

Is a studio apartment at The Clearwater condo. Is a cosy and nice place. Swimming pool is just a few steps away. Her unit is at the ground floor, it looks like a terrace house from the outside.

Why is didi covering his ear? We are playing 'plastic bomb'. Javier is the only one pressing and throw the bomb around.

We visited our maternal Grandma and Granduncle house. Collect lots of AngBao.

Flower Garden

Today is new year eve. After reunion dinner, we are off to the floral garden. Ah ma and GuGu bought this Cherry Blossom plant, at 50% off. usual price $28.

While they busy choosing the plant, didi and me were also busy taking photos everywhere.

Today is the last day of school before CNY. We got celebrations!

Hair Cut for CNY

CNY coming, the boys need to have a nice hair cut. Ryan's hair was cut by me since birth except 2 yrs ago CNY. 2 years ago the cut by the haridresser was worst then mine.

Since Ryan is going to be 4 years old this year, is time he should visit the hair salon.

Few months back, I try to bring him to a salon near our house, before we could get near to the shop's door, Ryan ran away quickly and kept crying. Failed!

Sometime in Nov/Dec'08, Lucas went for his usual hair cut, I asked Ryan to have his hair cut there too. He said he will go when he is 8 yrs old. (cos korkor is 8 yrs old, so he also wanna wait till 8 too) Failed again.

After Lucas finished, the hairdresser gave him some sweets. Ryan wants to have the sweets too, I told him he is not allow to take the sweet as he did not cut the hair, the hairdresser gave him the sweet and told that if he comes for hair cut, will give him 2 sweets instead of 1.

While walking away, Ryan said he will go for the hair when he is 4 yrs old. Sudden change of attitude becos of the sweets....

Since Ryan made the promise, I'm more determine to get him there this time.

On the way to the salon, he starts to cry. I carried him up the chair, get him to sit down and the hairdresser starts. Still crying.... I talked to him, hold his hand and pretend I was cutting for him instead of the hairdresser. He cooled down abit. Then distract him with sweets, gave him the whole container for him to choose. At last... SUCCESS... He stopped crying.

Mummy need to collect some chinese story books from a mummy at Compass Point and we got the chance to catch this.

PP's big day

Is my uncle's big today. Is just a simple buffet dinner and tea ceremony at his new house. Attend by mostly our relatives.

School reopen today

Today is the first day of school. I'm in P3 Observant. Papa send me to school in the morning and I took SMRT 811 bus back to Yishun Ah ma's house.

There were many students waiting at the bus stop. After waiting for about 10 mins, the bus arrived. It was too crowded to board the bus. Luckily, another less crowded bus came, I quickly went to the other with my friends. We even got a seat! Not bad for a school ending day.

I met my good friend, Aloysius, during recess break. We chatted with JunKai and Gideon too.
