High Tea at The Rose Veranda - Shangri-La

Went high tea with my mum.


After the meal, we went for a walk at the Marine Bay Sands (MBS). The Helix Bridge link Marina square to MBS. Most of the MBS shops are still not open, but casino had a long long q.

Mummy's sis aka my ah yi's birthday day is 20 Oct. We had a early celebration as today is Deepavali holidays.

We had a block party... lion and dragon dance is a must.
Followed by mini fireworks... we enjoyed it.

Gugu's birthday is on 23 Sep... we had a early celebration for her....
We went Swensen for ice-cream buffet as dinner yesterday...
Today is singing session, gugu loves to sing.. just she was abit shy there. Maybe this round is warm up and we should have more singing session the next time :)

Tomorrow is SiewWen's 9th yrs old birthday. Mummy bought small cake for her. We sang birthday for her. Is a chocolate cake.

After my class, we went for high tea at Velocity at Novena Square


Only to remember to take photos after we had filled up our stomach.

正月十五元宵节

Today is the last day of Chinese New Year, 元宵节. Is chinese's Valentine's day too.
We need to eat 湯圓 symbolise 团圆 on this first full moon day.

Mummy bought a small packet of 湯圓. Pink is peanuts and white is black sesame. Didi and me only like peanuts. After eating, didi request to have more 湯圓 tomorrow!

Didi was very happy to have the sipderman mini cake. But he only ate the cream and chocolate chips. He sang me 'Happy Birthday' song too.


This is the present i got from Daphne Auntie. This watch is of a bigger face than last year's.

Is a simple and nice Durian cake from Jane's cake station, along Jalan Kayu.
The cake is plain but the price is steep.. $38 for 800g. The ingredient, durian, is pricely.

Is my 8th birthday, I got a v big angbao from gugu, the amount is meant to buy Nintendo DS package. But...... can buy only when I turn 9!

Dinner at Changi Village Hotel

Gugu gave us a treat to Changi Village hotel buffet dinner....
There is a 1 for 1 offer from UOB credit card that made the dinner very worthwhile.

We were there early so that we can take a walk at the beach. The rain had just stopped and the floor were wet. Snap some photos near the jetty. The place had changed alot since we last went.
