2nd visit to Universal Studios, Sentosa

This is our 2nd visit to USS. First visit was during the preview before official opening. This time we did not take much photos, we spent most of the time on the queue and rides.

We were at the gate before 10am.Our first stop was the Canopy Flyer, this is the most popular ride of all. Second ride was Enchanted Airways. These are the 2 rides that cannot missed. We had a second of the Enchanted Airways but not the Canopy Flyer as the queue was 70min.


WaterWorld show, a show not to be missed. Shrek 4-D Adventure was nice too.


Dino-Soarin’, Treasure Hunters and Accelerator
These are the rides that are of lesser queue... Treasure hunter queue was about 40mins, Dino-Soarin' was about 10mins and Accelerator no queue at all.

We covered most of the shows and rides except the 'Revenge of the Mummy' and 'Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure'. Heard 'Revenge of the Mummy' is v scary and 'Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure' will make us wet.

Brought Ryan shopping this afternoon, felt that he had grown up alot. I could do my shopping, browsing, trying, up and down different levels. He would just sit at the toys dept, playing the toys.

This is the reward end of the day. He really enjoyed it very much.

GuGu got some ticekts to the town defence day, we played some games and collected lots of tibits. See my happy face.

Mooncake making

My purpur (uncle) wants to make some mooncake this year... he bought 10kg of lotus paste.. so we are at his house this afternoon....



Think at least 20 boxes were made... none from papa, Ryan and me... only mummy helps... taste nice...

Welcome to the world

Seems like just attended her wedding.... that was Jan 2008!

Today is a walking day for me....
Mummy and me took a train to city hall in the morning after sending didi to childcare. As it was still early, none of the shops were open. We walked to National Library, this is our first visit to the national library. We will be back on 1st Sep for 'The little green frog' show. So we go there to look out the place first.

It has 16 storey, we took the glass lift up to level 9, there is a cafe there too. snap a photo from there.


After roaming the library for awhile, we walked towards PS... on the way, we passed by Carlton Hotel, there is this big durian outside, the durian is much taller and fatter than me. They are having durian buffet promotion, the price is quite costly, we can use the dollars to buy many more durian.

shopping start from PS to OG to Takashimaya to Isetan scotts to DFS... we shop and eat along the way...we ate at kopitiam, food court, fast food... lastly mummy bought my favourite desserts back.. durian puff from Goodwood Park Hotel!

Happy Birthday To Papa

Today is a big day for Papa... cos is his chinese and english birthday... falls on the same day

All the children at least have 2 servings while the adults have 1 serving.

Belated Mother's Day dinner

We had our belated Mother's day dinner at Lotus Restaurant.
There were lots of food to choose from. Didi ate 4 bowls(small size) of chicken rice. I ate 1 bowl of chicken rice, noodle, sushi, bao, fishball, hotdog and lastly not forget the ice-cream

Birthday cake cutting at home

Today is my 4th birthday.

After attended so many birthday party, now is my turn.
Today is my chinese calendar's birthday, since it is a public holidays, we celebrate first
I got mummy to buy my favourite cake... Chocolate cake.. yummy..yummy...


Think I will still get another cake on my ah moh's birthday.

May Day Holidays

Is a public holidays today. No school, no work.

But we still got up early to cycle round the neighbourhood.

Since is Friday, we get to go the Mcdonald for breakfast too.

妹妹's 2nd birthday party

Ah Ma is the nanny of this little girl, we call her '妹妹'. She is my papa's cousin's daughter.
Is her 2nd birthday party.

We reached the Aloha chalet at about 4pm. Starting with cycling along the beach. My leg got ache and we went indoor for some ball games. The weather is very very hot.


Next is swimming, didi don't dare to slide down the slide, papa carried him and slide down together. But his whole head went into the water, he got a shock but is still ok. One and last slide for the day.

when our stomach start to drum, we took a shower and went back to have our early dinner, since the buffet came early too.

Each children will get a party bag and wait no more, we had more fun.
Lastly is the birthday cake/song time.... home sweet home

清 明节扫墓

This is our first trip to the 'mountain'.

The weather is good, not too hot nor raining... just abit cloudy and on/off drizzling.
Total 13 (11 adults and 2 kids)

Our first stop is great-grandma(my papa's paternal grandpa), she passed away in 1973.
The tomb is very near to the road side, quite easy to find


Second stop, great-grandpa (my papa's maternal grandpa).
The path to the tomb is very narrow. Have to keep saying 'sorry' and 'excuse me'

Last is to my paternal grandpa. He passed away in a road accident in 1981.

Papa was only in Primary 5 then.

His resting place is more spacious, didi and me can walk and run about.

Will we be here again next year? Wait for next year then will know.
